| 1. Will the DiscMultiplier duplicate copy-protected CD or DVDs? |
|
No. The Padus DiscJuggler software will not duplicate copy-protected material, nor do we sell any products that will allow you to copy copy-protected material. The duplicators will have no trouble duplicating CD or DVD discs that you have created or mastered yourself.

| 2. Can the DiscMultiplier perform a “Batch” copy operation? |

When using our PC-Inside models with Padus DiscJuggler.net, you can create jobs and place them into a queue for automated operations. Once in the DiscJuggler server’s queue, it will automatically complete each job in order that it was created.

| 3. Can I order a larger capacity and/or removable hard drive? |
|
Yes, we can upgrade your system to a larger drive capacity and add a removable hard drive at an additional cost.
Note: A removable hard drive is now a standard feature on all Hawk PCI models.

| 4. Can the DiscMultiplier be operated over a network? |
|
Yes, PC-Inside models with Padus DiscJuggler can be upgraded to offer versatile networkability for multiple users over a personal or corporate TCP/IP LAN or the internet. This is a significant software upgrade package for those who require multi-user access. Ask your dealer about the .NET upgrade.

| 5. I want the faster speed of a CD-only writer but also want to burn DVD videos. Can I get a Combination unit with both kinds of writer in it? |

With the current DVD burner technology, you no longer need a combination DVD/CDunit. T
he DVD duplicators will duplicate or create DVD's at 16x and duplicate or create CD's at 48x speeds.
If however, you want only to use CDs, CD-R only models are still available. The current speed of CD-R burners is 52X.

| 6. How many discs will the DiscMultiplier produce per hour? |
|
This count varies on a number of factors, among them; the speed of the drives in your unit, the amount of data you are writing, whether or not you are printing as well as burning, and the size and complexity of your print image. The Disc Robotics website has some estimated throughput counts based on tests we performed (located in the product configurations).

| 7. Can we use “Business Card” and “Mini-CD” type discs in the DiscMultiplier? |

No, this ability is not supported.

| 8. I produce a high volume of discs and print labels on them. We use a PC-inside DiscMultiplier and want to add another DiscMultiplier just for printing to speed up the job. Can I add a second, printing-only unit? |
|
Yes, there is a print-only unit that can be added to our PC-inside DiscMultiplier. This will free the first DiscMultiplier of the printing task, allowing it to burn discs at a faster rate. Completed burns may then be manually moved to the second DiscMultiplier complete the printing task. This can be done before or after the burn is completed. Contact your dealer for more specifics.
